Kids & Family

1. Plan the location: Choose a location that is meaningful to your family, weather permitting.  Like a park, beach, or your home.  Consider the lighting and scenery.  We can always go to the studio if we need to.  I have plenty of room.  

2. Coordinate Outfits: Pick outfits that complement each other without being to matchy-matchy.  Choose colors and styles that reflect your family personality.  Remember not too many patterns.  It is distracting. 

3. Timing is Key: Plan your shoot during the golden hours of early morning or late afternoon for best lighting.

4. Be comfortable; Ensure everyone is comfortable and relaxed, bring snacks, water and things to keep kiddos entertained. 

5. I will mix posed shots with candid moments to capture authentic emotions.  Remember if im posing you and you are comfortable, you are probably doing it wrong lol.  There is a method to my madness

6. Communicate with me, share your vision, preferences, and any specific shot you want.  

7. Patience is Key; Be patient with your children, pets and husbands lol.  Sometimes the best shots come from unexpected moments. 

8. Keep it fun; Encourage laughter and playfulness to get genuine smiles and expressions.

Remember the most important thing is to enjoy the experience and create lasting memories with your family and that might not look like you imagined, however it might look even better.
