Getting Ready for Your Session
I am so excited to work with you, Here are a couple of things that will help you prepare for your session, the more you are prepared the smoother things will go, While it is not a mandate I do recommend professional hair and makeup for all of you beautiful young ladies. Nothing that is extreme or does not look like you, however professionals do know how to work with makeup to help the skin look its best and accent your greatest features. Here are some other tips;
Things to bring
1. Outfit changes: plan multiple outfits that reflect your style and personality. Avoid busy patterns or logos that can be distracting
2. Accessories: Bring accessories like jewelry, scarves, hats, or props that define your interest and hobbies.
3. Hair and Makeup: As previously mentioned, consider the natural look that enhances your features, bring powder to control shine and a brush to touch up hair
4. Shoes: Coordinate shoes with your outfits. Bring comfortable ones for walking between locations.
5. Props: this can be musical instruments, sports equipment, cap and gown etc.
Things to avoid;
1. Trendy Outfits, while style is great, overly trendy can quickly look outdated
2. Overly Bright Colors; Extremely bright colors can cast unflattering reflections on your skin. Opt for more muted tones
3. Heavy Branding: Clothing with visible logos or brand names can be distracting, so it's best to avoid them.
4. Ill fitting Clothes: Make sure your outfits fit and flatter your body shape
5. Too Much Jewelry: Avoid excessive jewelry, it can take attention away from your face
6. New Skincare Products: Dont experiment with new skin care products or spray tan the night before a photoshoot, to avoid unexpected reactions.
7. Last-Minute Changes: Avoid making drastic changes to your appearance, like a dramatic haircut right before the photoshoot
8. Stress; Try to relax and be yourself during the photoshoot.
Remember the key is to be true to yourself and showcase your personality. Communicate with me to ensure I understand your vision and expectations.

What to Expect
You have booked your session, We met, discussed your vision. Now what?
Depending on the session you chose, we will most likely be together for about 3 hours. We will have decided upon a location or several for your shoot. Typically I like to have a parent there with us, not just for comfort but I may put you to work, as I use outdoor lighting to achieve my images, and it's great if you can follow me however you are welcome to ride with me as well. I assume that you read the getting ready tips and are all prepared with clothing and things to make these the best pictures ever. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Don't worry, very few are comfortable in front of the camera, that is where I come in. I'll help you with posing and adjusting your body so that you look your absolute best. Some of you have wonderful natural smiles and some have amazing serious looks. It takes me about 5 minutes to see the real smiles and the fake, lol. While my kids tell me I'm not funny, I will do my best to get the natural out of you. As I mentioned, typically a session last a few hours, allowing for drive time and outfit changes. After the session I will edit and retouch the best shots to enhance the quality of the image. removing acne if there is any. It is not my goal to change who you are, only to bring out the best. You will then have the opportunity to view them on the website, I will contact you with a password for your gallery. We can set up a viewing and ordering session, where I will help you decide if you want albums or wall art, gift prints etc..Usually 2 weeks after your intial session. So, we got this! Let's have some fun. You're only a senior once right! Make it count.
